Safety Specialist

Joinus Career is recruiting for a passionate Safety Specialist to implement protocols and safeguards to ensure safety standards are in place and adhered to inside one of Cartersville's largest warehouse. This important new position will lead to a full-time, permanent role with benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Administer the new employee safety training programs.

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.

• Promote a safety-first culture by providing guidance and coaching to site personnel.

• Monitor employee safety practices and enforce safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in safety oversight or supervision.

• Certification in OSHA 30-Hour General Safety.

• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
